Fast thanks to AI, good thanks to experience

AI is a firm part of my toolbox and makes me a lot faster. To make sure speed doesn't come at the cost of quality, I set the direction: architecture, tests and review remain my job. I'm happy to pass that knowledge on, in the team and to clients, ideally so that you can do it yourself afterwards.

Software that lasts

As a certified software architect (iSAQB) and Symfony expert I rely on Clean Architecture: clear structures, solid tests and code that still makes sense ten years from now. That's why some client projects have been running for more than a decade. Now that AI writes code in seconds, what counts is someone who knows what good software looks like.

Self-hosted instead of scattered across the internet: this website works without cookies, trackers or embedded services from Google & co. That's how I build for you, too.

about me

I solve problems. For a living and for fun.

Some people do crosswords. I figure out why the Wi-Fi doesn't reach the next room.

In my day job I'm a senior software developer focused on architecture, and I've been building software for large platforms for more than 15 years. With MaetherIT I've been bringing that know-how to you since 2012. Today I work closely with AI: it brings the speed, and my experience makes sure the result still holds up years from now. No hotline, no waiting loop: you always talk to me directly.

When I'm not solving problems, I'm in the mountains, on foot or on my mountain bike. There's no Wi-Fi up there, and that's just fine.
